Medical Teams International
The East Whatcom Regional Resource Center (EWRRC), managed by the Opportunity Council, provides space for a preschool program, Head Start, community meetings, community garden, and basic needs resources as well as events throughout the year for residents in Eastern Whatcom County. Medical Teams International partners with EWRRC to provide the community of Maple Falls, Washington with free urgent dental care services. US Programs seeks to strengthen the existing US healthcare system by filling crucial gaps in accessing urgent dental care. We ask all of our volunteers to come to their roles with compassion, understanding, and respect for the people we serve. Our volunteers aren’t just the heart and soul of our clinics — they’re the backbone of our work! Bringing free dental care and health screenings to underserved communities only happens because of compassionate professionals like you.
