NEW Volunteers Apply Here: The Care and Connect volunteers are vital to our provision of quality emergency dental care to underserved communities. Our volunteers commit to 1 clinic per month (approximately 8 hours). This monthly commitment ensures continuity of services and quality care. Please choose the shift that applies to your role on the mobile dental clinics (dentist, dental assistant, nurse, clinic assistant, etc.). This project will walk you through the steps to complete your volunteer application. Please ignore the shift date/times - these are mock shifts set up to walk you through your application and be ready to volunteer! Requirements needed to complete application: Background Check (Conducted online through an authorized vendor, every 5 years) Medical Teams International Handbook (sign, one time) General Release & Confidentiality Agreement (sign, one time) Health & Safety Policy (sign, one time) Hepatitis B Vaccination Attestation (sign, one time; not required to be vaccinated) Licensing credentials for healthcare professionals (upload, every renewal) Child & Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy (sign, annually) Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse and Harassment Policy (sign, annually) Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse Training (two self-paced online videos, 50 min, annually)

We ask that you arrive on site at least 15 minutes before your clinic shift. If this is your first time volunteering, please arrive 30 minutes before your clinic shift to meet the Clinic Manager and get oriented to the van.
PPE will be provided. Scrubs are recommended for dental professionals but not required. For all other volunteers, comfortable clothing & shoes recommended. No offensive language or imagery.
